Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization
The Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute (KPTI), with funding and support from the Kiwanis Foundation of New England (KFNE), offers an educational program on pediatric trauma management designed for emergency medical personnel(EMTs and paramedics). The five-hour program presents basic and advanced concepts of trauma management including epidemiology, diagnosis, airway management, resuscitation techniques, system considerations, and case studies. (Certification Credits are awarded)
